Are you living a dream? Isn't it time you woke up? TheDeenShow

" I am back again ! "

Alhamdulillah....

Thank You Allah, I'm back again after being disconnected by the human procedure....
more or less , " lembab " a service from TMNet Bukit Mertajam & Kulim.
The story of my application to transfer my new account into new local township here in Kulim require to have phone line.
Yes, again I was so unlucky that my area do not have phone cable distribution...so it's endep up with the efforts of mine into TMNet Kulim.

Then, I met with the Officer over there, her name was Pn.Faridah...she was soft spoken, a polite officer & very patience woman.
At first, I was controlling my anger after being frustrated by the answer from staff at TMNet Bukit Mertajam & one stupid Telekom's contractor. Imagined, I lodged the report for new application on mid of Jan 2010 & theworst thing happened to me when after 2 weeks waiting a response from TMNet BM, I was told that there's no response from TMNet Kulim.....
What the fuck Mr.Officer, what kind of follow up you've been doing for over the past 2 weeks...?

And then, I take my effort going to Kulim to follow up on the status.....after that it was a classical history that I've learn from MNC company such Telekom Malaysia. If i would be given a chance to give customer rating satisfaction , I would rather give nothing since the problem solving & profesionalism are among the worst things ever happened.

But all the way to get back my connection, I would like once again credits this good effort to Pn. Faridah assisting me all the way for 6 weeks before i can use my internet at home. On & off, it took me 2 months to get the phoneline & internet connection.

Anyway...I don't want to get disapointed again....I'm happy at this moment..i can watch YouTube & I love to watch " The Deen Show " again.

Bye.

" Journey of Faith "

Alhamdulillah ,

Salam folks, again I managed to complete my journey to the east from 13/2 until safely return to home sweet home on 16/2. I thank to Allah S.W.T protecting my journey through out 1231 km. I was on my way alone departing from Kulim since my colleagues ( Lee & Ahwey ) are not able to join me during CNY festive.

My trip to KL-Pekan-Kajang-Kulim serves for 3 purposes.
a) VISA application
b) first step into what the so-called " dream job "
c) meeting an old fren

After all, I won't sacrifice my energy, money & time for these 3 purposes. I find it very unique & it was inter-related between each other. Anyway, I come into realization that these are the things that requires me to be patience enough, focus to the GOAL & be humble to the ALLAH & to the human being.

I'm considering myself so lucky because I've friends that opted to listen to me & sincere to give their valuable opinions.
I thank to them again & may ALLAH protect them.

My final words, we all have our own individual target in our life, let's FOCUS to it & work harder & no shortcut for it !
Insyallah, ALLAH will always listen to us !

Over coming your desires and gaining self control

Plain White Ts - Hey There Delilah - Official (HQ)

"Hey There Delilah"

Hey there Delilah
What's it like in New York City?
I'm a thousand miles away
But girl tonight you look so pretty
Yes you do
Times Square can't shine as bright as you
I swear it's true

Hey there Delilah
Don't you worry about the distance
I'm right there if you get lonely
Give this song another listen
Close your eyes
Listen to my voice it's my disguise
I'm by your side

Oh it's what you do to me
Oh it's what you do to me
Oh it's what you do to me
Oh it's what you do to me
What you do to me

Hey there Delilah
I know times are getting hard
But just believe me girl
Someday I'll pay the bills with this guitar
We'll have it good
We'll have the life we knew we would
My word is good

Hey there Delilah
I've got so much left to say
If every simple song I wrote to you
Would take your breath away
I'd write it all
Even more in love with me you'd fall
We'd have it all

Oh it's what you do to me
Oh it's what you do to me
Oh it's what you do to me
Oh it's what you do to me

A thousand miles seems pretty far
But they've got planes and trains and cars
I'd walk to you if I had no other way
Our friends would all make fun of us
and we'll just laugh along because we know
That none of them have felt this way
Delilah I can promise you
That by the time we get through
The world will never ever be the same
And you're to blame

Hey there Delilah
You be good and don't you miss me
Two more years and you'll be done with school
And I'll be making history like I do
You'll know it's all because of you
We can do whatever we want to
Hey there Delilah here's to you
This ones for you

Oh it's what you do to me
Oh it's what you do to me
Oh it's what you do to me
Oh it's what you do to me
What you do to me.

" Time is running out "

Salam folks,

It's so tiring this weekend. What to do..? Choices being given but have to do it. Anyway loads of task ( not a working tasks from office ) still pending from my site..... Documents, appointment with specialist on my health " ET " ( not at ET movie ya...it's Essential Tremors), weekend coverage from 08:00 until 17:15...... Running to the court...what else.....?

Time is running out... Have to put my efforts & improve my understanding towards my religion. Have to be patience, I've to repent for all the sins that I've done. I've to improve my ethics & doing a lot of community service, helping more people, more charity.

A part from that, I've to always remind myself about death. I could be tomorrow or it could be 5 more years.... Who knows ? Nobody knows !

Masyallah....time is running out. I've to continue my work.......I've to focus now. 46 more days to go. O Allah....lead me to the right path !

Salah and the Worst Kind of Theft | The Deen Show Blog

Salam,

First of all, i would like to share this as i believe a lot of us can benefiting from this website.
I took this from TheDeenShow.com & i wanted to be reproduced so that you can read it immediately.
Happy Reading !

Taken from TheDeenShow.com:

" The only sad part of finding the straight path is when you lose it. There are many ways to fall, but no fall is more tragic than a fall in one’s deen. Sometimes it’s a sister who decided to take off her hijab and live a different type of life, other times it’s a brother who was once active in the community, but got caught up with the wrong crowd. But, with each story, somehow, somewhere along the line, our brothers and sisters fell so far.

Sadly, these stories are not uncommon. Sometimes we can’t help but look at them and wonder: How? Why? We wonder how someone who was so straight could have gotten so far off the path.

In wondering this, we often don’t realize that the answer may be simpler than we think. People fall into all types of sin, but there is one sin all these people have in common. There is one common denominator for every individual who lives a life full of sin. Whether that person was once on the straight path and fell, or whether that person was never on that path at all, one thing is for sure. That person had to first abandon, minimize, put aside, or ignore their salah (prayer) before they were able to fall.

If one is praying, but continues to live a life full of sin, that salah is likely only the action of limbs—not heart or soul. See, there is a crucial characteristic of salah that is often overlooked. Besides being a sacred meeting with our creator, salah is a protection of the realest kind. Allah says, “Recite, [O Muhammad], what has been revealed to you of the Book and establish prayer. Indeed, prayer prohibits immorality and wrongdoing, and the remembrance of Allah is greater. And Allah knows that which you do.” (Qur’an, 29:45)

When someone decides to abandon salah, they are also abandoning this protection. It is important to remember that this abandonment of salah often does not happen all at once, but rather in stages. It begins by delaying prayers out of their specified times and then combining one prayer with another. Soon it turns into missing the prayer all together. Before you know it, not praying becomes the norm.

Meanwhile something else is happening that cannot be seen. With every delayed or missed prayer, a hidden battle is being waged: The battle of shaytan. By abandoning the salah, the human being has put down the armor given to them by Allah, and has entered the battle field with no protection. Now shaytan can have full reign. Of this truth Allah says: “And whoever is blinded from remembrance of the Most Merciful – We appoint for him a devil, and he is to him a companion.” (Qur’an, 43:36)

So it should be of no surprise to anyone that neglecting salah becomes the very first step in the path to a lower life. Those who have fallen off the path need only to look back at where it began; and they will find that it began with the salah. The same is perfectly true the other way around. For those who wish to turn their lives around, it begins by focusing on and perfecting the salah. Once you put salah back as the priority—before school, work, fun, socializing, shopping, TV, ball games—only then can you turn your life around.

The irony of this truth is that many people are deceived into thinking that they need to first turn their life around, before they can start to pray. This thinking is a dangerous trick of shaytan, who knows that it is the salah itself which will give that person the fuel and guidance necessary to turn their life around. Such a person is like a driver whose car is on empty, but insists on finishing the journey before filling up on gas. That person won’t be going anywhere. And in the same way, such people end up in the same place for years: not praying, and not changing their lives. Shaytan challenged them, and won.

In so doing, we have allowed him to steal from us what is priceless. Our homes and our cars are so precious to us, that we would never think to leave them unprotected. So we pay hundreds of dollars on security systems to keep them safe. And yet our deen is left unprotected, to be stolen by the worst of thieves—a thief who has vowed God Himself to be our relentless enemy till the end of time. A thief who is not simply stealing some carved metal with a Mercedes symbol on it. A thief who is stealing our eternal soul and everlasting ticket to Paradise. "
